We are proud to announce that we have teamed up with Crossing for a Cure, a very special campaign that is setting out to spread awareness of the ocean’s incredible health benefits for those who are living with Cystic Fibrosis, a terminal lung disease.
Crossing for a Cure is a long distance endurance challenge and race that takes paddlers 75 miles across the Gulf Stream from Bimini in the Bahamas back to the Florida mainland. Founder and Executive Director, Travis Suit, has kicked off this incredible cause due to the personal extent he and his family have endured due to CF. His daughter, Piper, was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis in 2011 at the age of four.
In 2013, Travis along with three others paddled out from the Bahamas to mainland Florida to gain exposure for everyone living in the CF community. Now 5 years later Travis and his team are taking it to the next step and they need our help!
On June 16th the paddle will take place leaving from Bimini in the Bahamas back to mainland Florida.

There are three types of UV radiation which are harmful to our skin. One of them though, UVC, is thankfully absorbed in our atmosphere so it is not a risk for us currently. The other two are a concern for us, UVB and UVA, these two can damage your collagen fibers and lead to the aging of your skin. They are also known to cause melanoma and other types of skin cancers.
